Tokyo revenges ending what happened

Tokyo Revengers is a popular Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. The manga was first serialized in Weekly Shōnen Magazine in March 2017 and has been widely successful, with over 32 million copies in circulation as of 2021. The story follows Takemichi Hanagaki, a 26-year-old man who travels back in time to his middle school years to save his ex-girlfriend, Hinata Tachibana, and change the course of his life.

After five and a half years of serialization, the manga has finally come to an end. While the series had some bumps and bruises towards its ending, especially in the final arc, the final chapter turned out to be one that everyone can be satisfied with! The series has gained a huge following over the years, and the end of the manga has left many fans feeling both happy and sad.

However, just because the manga is all wrapped up doesn’t mean the stories to come from the world of Tokyo Revengers are over. In fact, they’re just beginning! As can be seen in the final chapter, all our favorite teenage delinquents are growing and following their own paths. The characters have evolved throughout the series, and the finale shows them all moving forward in different ways.

Naoto Tachibana is one of the central characters of the series, and we have seen him go through a lot throughout all the different timelines. However, in this one, he seems happiest. His sister is finally alive and well, and with everything going well, he has no reason to become the depressed detective we know so well. Instead, Naoto has chosen to chase his dreams and become a journalist for an occult magazine!

Akkun, the leader of the Mizo Middle Five and one of Takemitchy’s closest friends, has also finally achieved his dream. Always wanting to be a hairdresser, Akkun was never properly able to due to the gang connections always following him around. In pretty much every timeline, he was pretty miserable with his life. Luckily, in the final chapter, he can be seen at Takemitchy’s wedding, and he’s finally a hairdresser!

The Kawata Brothers, Happy and Angry, are two inseparable characters that we have seen smiling or frowning throughout every brawl, conflict, or event in the series. In the final chapter, they can be seen running their very own Ramen Shop.

Pah-Chin and Peh-Yan, Tokyo Manji’s Third Division captain and vice-captain, are another infamous duo that we have seen throughout the series. Though the two are separated for some time when Pah is arrested, the two are eventually reunited. Not only that, but they actually work together now! With Pah running his own real estate agency, you already know Peh is right next to him!

The Shiba Siblings, Taiju, Yuzuha, and Hakkai, have had some major issues between them in the past, especially with Taiju being extremely abusive towards his younger siblings. However, it seems that since then, things have somewhat settled between the family. Taiju now owns multiple restaurants, while Hakkai is a worldwide model, and Yuzuha is working as his agent! Clearly, there are still some lines drawn between the family, but it’s great to see them all succeeding!
