The filming of ‘Lilo & Stitch’ began in April 2023 in Oahu, Hawaii, following delays. However, the ongoing WGA and SAG-AFTRA strike has disrupted production. This historic labor strike, a joint effort between actors and writers not seen since 1960, seeks to address pressing industry concerns, even as major studios like Warner Bros., Disney, and Netflix resist. The strike has already incurred substantial financial losses for the industry and shows no signs of resolution.
