New ‘Princess and the Frog’ Park Addition Gets Opening Date

Both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort are currently in the process of introducing numerous new additions inspired by ‘The Princess and the Frog’ to their parks. Fans of the film are delighted by the increased representation of this beloved story within the parks.

One surprising announcement was the retheming of the iconic Disney attraction, Splash Mountain, into ‘Tiana’s Bayou Adventure.’ This decision raised eyebrows given the enduring popularity of Splash Mountain. Nevertheless, Disney has pressed ahead with these projects, both of which are slated to open next year.

However, there’s exciting news that a new addition inspired by Tiana will be making its debut much sooner.

Tiana’s Palace Is Set to Open Shortly Situated in the heart of New Orleans Square at Disneyland Park, Tiana’s Palace will transport visitors to the lively streets of New Orleans with its authentic ambiance and mouthwatering cuisine. Inspired by the beloved Princess Tiana’s restaurant from ‘The Princess and the Frog,’ this enchanting dining establishment is a must-visit for Disney enthusiasts seeking a taste of the Big Easy. Opening Date Unveiled at Last Construction has been progressing steadily at Tiana’s Palace, and it’s evident that the restaurant is nearing completion. Just today, on August 18, Disney made the exciting announcement that Tiana’s Palace will officially open its doors to the public on September 7, 2023.
