In an exciting blend of isekai anime and high fantasy, a remarkable crossover event has taken place in Netmarble’s The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross smartphone role-playing game. Fans can now rejoice as characters from the popular Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation anime series have made their grand entrance into the game’s immersive world. This delightful collaboration, launched on Tuesday, introduces four new playable characters from Mushoku Tensei, namely [Otherworldly Reincarnation] Rudeus Greyrat, [Mad Dog] Eris Boreas Greyrat, [Water King-class Magician] Roxy Migurdia, and [Sword King] Ghislaine Dedoldia. The arrival of these beloved characters has created a buzz among both The Seven Deadly Sins and Mushoku Tensei fan communities.

From now until the upcoming maintenance update on May 15, players can fully indulge in the crossover content, relishing in the opportunity to add Rudeus, Eris, Roxy, and Ghislaine to their roster of formidable warriors. While [Mad Dog] Eris Boreas Greyrat can be obtained through the completion of special missions, the remaining characters are exclusive to the game’s gacha system, adding an element of anticipation and collection for dedicated players.

The crossover event introduces an exhilarating boss raid event titled “Event Death Match – Encountering Death,” featuring none other than Orsted, the second-ranked Seven Great World Power from Mushoku Tensei. Players will have the thrilling chance to challenge Orsted, an opponent even Rudeus struggled to conquer in the anime series. Triumphing over Orsted will unlock valuable rewards, including items to fortify their characters and a special costume for Eris, allowing players to truly immerse themselves in the intertwining worlds of The Seven Deadly Sins and Mushoku Tensei.

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first collaboration between The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross and an isekai anime. The game has previously forged successful partnerships with Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- for two distinct collaborations, further expanding the game’s universe and captivating fans with thrilling crossovers.

Netmarble, the developer behind The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross, launched the game for iOS and Android devices in June 2019 in Japan and Korea, followed by a global release in March 2020. In addition to the mobile game, Netmarble is also actively working on an ambitious open-world game based on Nakaba Suzuki’s renowned manga franchise, The Seven Deadly Sins. This upcoming title, set to be released on consoles, PC, and mobile devices, promises to deliver an even grander and more immersive experience, further expanding the captivating world of The Seven Deadly Sins.
