In the clip, posted on TikTok by @siberianderpskies, the account owner sings the beloved theme song of the classic cartoon while two Siberian Huskies named Leia and Archer react. Leia’s excitement is palpable as she starts running and ‘dancing’. The caption humorously notes, ‘POV: Your husky’s biggest trigger is late 1980s/early 1990s cartoon jingles.’

Adapted from Carl Barks’ Uncle Scrooge comics, DuckTales is an animated series that trails triplets Huey, Dewey, and Louie, alongside their great uncle Scrooge McDuck, as they embark on globe-trotting adventures in pursuit of hidden treasures and history’s secrets. DuckTales Swiftly Gains Popularity Originally airing for 100 episodes between September 1987 and November 1990, DuckTales swiftly became a Disney sensation. Its successful weekday syndication paved the way for The Disney Afternoon programming block, featuring classics like Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers and TaleSpin. The show earned accolades, such as a nomination for Favorite Cartoon at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 1988 and a nod for Outstanding Animated Programming at the 1989 Daytime Emmy Awards.

DuckTales Gets a Revamp DuckTales also received a companion feature film, DuckTales the Movie: Treasure of the Lost Lamp, premiering in 1990.
